What is NQ Trades Lab?
It is a Trading Journal and analytics dashboard for NQ/ES futures traders. It turns your trading history and Journal context into metrics, filters, charts and trade details so you can study how you are trading.
Which metrics can I analyze?
Among others, Win Rate, W/BE/L, Profit Factor, Average Win/Loss, Equity & PnL, Performance Matrix, Time Performance, Calendar and Trade Details. You can also compare by model, account, pattern, day of week, error, direction and macros.
Does NQ Trades Lab provide signals or investment recommendations?
No. It is an analytical and educational tool for reviewing your own trading. It does not provide signals, investment recommendations or financial advice.
From CSV to Journal.
Which platforms can I use to import trades?
The current workflow supports CSV files exported from NinjaTrader 8 and TradingView.
Do I need to connect my broker credentials?
No. Importing is done through CSV, so NQ Trades Lab does not need your broker credentials.
Do I have to enter each trade manually?
No. You upload the CSV in Import trades, review detected trades and complete the context that does not come from the broker, such as Account or Model, before saving them.
What happens if a trade already exists in Notion?
The importer checks for duplicates before saving so trades already in your Journal are not created again.
Can I undo an import?
Yes. After an import you can use Revert to remove from Notion the trades you just added if you need to correct that upload.
Do I need Notion?
Yes. The current workflow uses Notion as your personal Journal. You connect the authorized workspace and select the Journal you want to use.
Your data stays under your control.
Does NQ Trades Lab store my CSV or trading history?
The CSV is processed locally in your browser. The architecture is designed to reduce the need to store your trading history in a dashboard-owned database.
Where does my Journal stay?
In the Notion workspace you authorize. NQ Trades Lab works with the Journal selected within that connection.
What access does NQ Trades Lab receive to Notion?
The integration works with the workspace you authorize and the Journal you select for the application workflow. You can review and manage that connection from the integration itself.

Yes. The Free plan lets you work with up to 100 trades without a card, so you can validate the workflow before moving to unlimited access.
